Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's journey from fat to fit for Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film Dangal left many impressed.

A video of the transformation Aamir underwent for the flick ended up breaking the internet soon after it had been uploaded on the Facebook page of UTV Motion Pictures.

Aamir Khan's fat to fit video is going viral for all the right reasons

While the 51-year-old actor's video left many inspired, some have alleged that Aamir used substances such as steroids to lose and gain weight for Dangal, according to Hindustan Times.

Slamming the rumours, the superstar said, "I have not used any substances. I think that the good rate to lose weight is roughly one pound a week. If you want to lose weight little faster, then you have more of a calorie deficit."

Aamir Khan's new film 'Secret Superstar' trailer is one to look out for

"So, if you have calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, you lose one pound a week. If you have the calorie deficit of 1,000 calories a day, you lose two pounds a week. That is considered to be on the higher side. When I started the weight loss process, I was doing double of that. Four pounds a week, I was losing for the first three weeks. Then I brought it down to two pounds a week. So, I had 20 weeks to do that. If you do the math, you will understand that is how I got there. Immediately after PK, I was in the weight training mode for two years," he further clarified.

MJS | 7 years ago | Reply Nobody gains muscles after 50. Men struggle even trying to maintain what they have let alone gain pounds and pounds of muscles. Actors like Sylvester Stallone are big proponents of HGH or human growth hormone. Amir, Salman etc. take what they have to do transform their bodies at their age but don't have the courage to own it.
