There is, indeed, nothing called ‘justice’ in Pakistani society
ISLAMABAD: Our society has no law and order in application. The vast majority of people are illiterate and those who are placed in prime positions also act ignorant about our laws. Our ruling class repeatedly comes through the corridors of power and politics but they never bother to simplify the existing complex laws, update archaic procedures and enforce the laws of the land. Is it fair that a few organisations at the federal and provincial level are being run as private security companies, where employees have no rights, including timely promotions and pensions and where person-specific rules are put in practice?
There is, indeed, nothing called ‘justice’ in Pakistani society, where talent is in perpetual trouble and the proverbial deadwood are repeatedly rehired without assessing and evaluating their contribution towards organisational development.
