Why are the Choudhrys of Gujrat being spared?

They are acting as angels and siding with Imran Khan against NS in the Panama Leaks case

SYDNEY: It is good that people have woken up to their rights to know where their tax money is being spent by the government, for which the credit goes to the media. The case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been initiated by PTI, which, in fact, should have been initiated long before by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), National Accountability Bureau or Accountant General Pakistan Revenues Office, which was basically their job. In any case, there was a lot of controversy about 1993, when NS bought an apartment in London in his children’s names.

This information coincides with news that appeared in a major newspaper in 1989, about the first PAC report given by the late Hakim Ali Zardari, who had been appointed as chairman PAC by the late Benazir, then in parliament, wherein he mentioned that apart from hundreds of civilians and army men, the two politicians — the Choudhries of Gujrat and Sharifs of Lahore — got bank loans written off of Rs22 billion and Rs21 billion, respectively, during General Ziaul Haq’s tenure. It seemed that both parties were in competition as to who gets more benefits for supporting the dictator.

It took time for Sharifs to transfer money from Pakistan to Dubai, where they installed a steel mill the family talks about, and then the money was easily transferred in 1993, along with much more they looted during their next tenure, 1991-1993, to London, the global Hub of money laundering from the Third World. In fact, European countries except Germany, thrive on money laundering from Third World corrupt heads of the state, businessmen, bureaucrats and the drug mafia.

The big question is why were the Choudhrys of Gujrat, who were equally involved in looting the country during Haq’s era, and afterward, not questioned about the properties they bought in Spain, South Korea, Dubai and London? Now, they are acting as angels and siding with Imran Khan against NS in the Panama Leaks case.
