Civil Hospital hygiene

The government should figure out a possible solution for the maintenance and hygienic upkeep of public hospitals

TURBAT: The prime purpose of a hospital is to provide health facilities in a hygienic environment. However, many of the government hospitals in Pakistan, instead of providing patients relief, are adding to their agonies through unhygienic and dirty conditions found in their wards and rooms. These factors can further complicate the illnesses of patients and worsen their conditions. That is a sad situation because such factors are controllable. Such are the conditions at Civil Hospital in Turbat as well.

The overall condition of the hospital is unbearable, so much so that even visitors are reluctant to go. As a result, the lack of cleanliness and the horrific conditions of the washrooms cause the most disturbance. However, where are patients supposed to go for treatment if not to their local hospitals? The government should figure out a possible solution for the maintenance and hygienic upkeep of public hospitals in Turbat and across the country.
