Education bribery

Letter November 15, 2016
The rising trend of bribery needs to end

KARACHI: The state of our education board annually degrades its status. In current times, no matter how much a student works on his studies, his hard work goes in vain because the son of a high income family will always beat his score because they can afford to pay a few dimes for bribery or tutors and achieve his desired score without much hard work. In this way, our education board only produces educated illiterates who haven’t worked hard for their fame nor the bread they eat. Our education board is in dire need of reform. The rising trend of bribery needs to end. We need a system in which an honest hard working student stays motivated and sees value in applying time and effort to achieve success.
