It would have been good if the writer had suggested a solution as well.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Naeem Sadiq’s article of February 19 titled “A matter of ‘honour’”. The piece is nicely written and I agree with much of it. However, it would have been good if the writer had suggested a solution as well — one that would rid ordinary Pakistanis of the ‘ghairat’ brigade, as well as the ‘bay-ghairat’ brigade. The one thing this country desperately needs is education, which could solve a lot of the country’s issues.
