GILGIT: As many as five more ministers have been inducted into the Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet, taking the total strength to 10.

Expansion of the cabinet comes over a year after the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz swept the polls and formed the government.

Those appointed include Haider Khan and Imran Wakeel from district Diamer, Iqbal Hassan from Kharmang, Muhammad Shafiq from Ghanche, and Fida Khan from Ghizer.

“Notification to this effect has been issued,” G-B government spokesman Faizullah Farak said on Thursday.
