It is pathetic to think of electricity as a luxury good
KARACHI: People are openly using illegal electricity connections, popularly known as kunda connections, right under the nose of K-Electric. This theft of electricity directly affects honest consumers who end up having to pay extra for the electricity used by someone else as the company is then inclined towards raising its taxes and rates.
It is pathetic to think of electricity as a luxury good but that is what is happening as ethical citizens are punished for their honest practices of paying for electricity rather than using the illegal connection systems that others use.
