BATTAGRAM: The government will start closing WAPDA offices across the province soon after Eidul Azha if the federal government does not stop pilfering 600 megawatts of electricity of K-P’s share. This was said by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak. He expressed these views while speaking at a public meeting in Battagram on Thursday.

He said the stolen electricity could help in reducing 90% load-shedding from the province. “However, the federal government was not willing to provide relief to the people due to a political grudge,” Khattak said. “We will hold protest against the federal government with the support of the people and lock WAPDA offices after Eid as part of our protest.”
