Medical entrance exam

Requirement to take medical entrance exam has been raised to 70 per cent in intermediate from previous 60 per cent

TURBAT: It is extremely disturbing to learn that the requirement to take the medical entrance exam has been raised to 70 per cent in intermediate from the previous 60 per cent. This is an enormous jump for medical students following the Balochistan board as this particular board is extremely stingy in rewarding points.

One of my friends has been preparing for the medical test in Quetta for the past three years. He was going to appear for the entrance test but thanks to this new rule, he is not eligible any longer as he secured a score below 70 per cent in intermediate. His career, along with that of many others, is going to be ruined if this rule stays the same. I request the authorities concerned and Chief Minister of Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri to facilitate students so that they may pursue their career ambitions.
