DUBAI: It is most regrettable that many newspapers did not publish the full text or even a part of the president’s speech on Independence Day. It was an inspiring speech citing important events, especially for the younger generation.
Even Urdu newspapers did not give the speech the importance it deserved, and instead published statements of far lesser consequences. The head of state’s speech certainly deserved more coverage in the Pakistani print media.
