Just days after the launch of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Premier, passengers 'damaged' a London-bound flight.

Upon its arrival in London on Wednesday, one of the recently inducted A-330s looked nothing like a new plane as people had thrown litter everywhere and stolen bottles of lotion.

PIA Spokesperson Daniyal Gilani took to Twitter to post pictures of PK-785 on its arrival in London. "This is how our new A-330 looked like on arrival in London yesterday. Litter. Lotions stolen. Passengers please take care of PIA premier," he wrote.

Responding to questions regarding the situation, Gilani wrote, "No passenger is allowed to damage public property," adding that other airlines "ban" such passengers.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated on Sunday (country’s 70thIndependence Day) PIA’s Premier service at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad.

Heads of PIA and Sri Lankan Airlines were also present on the occasion.

The first flight of the airline’s premier service, which introduces better in-flight entertainment, among other features, departed for London, according to Radio Pakistan.

The national flag carrier has also announced to arrange complimentary limousine service for its Premier Business Class (PBC) customers upon their arrival at London’s Heathrow airport. The airline had, last month, signed an agreement with the Sri Lankan Airlines to acquire its three A-330s, which are in surplus, on wet lease. The first of the three aircraft landed at Karachi airport on August 6, and the remaining two are expected to arrive by February 2017.

S M Khan | 7 years ago | Reply Vast majority of Pak origin passengers do tend to litter everywhere they go, be it aircraft, airport, motorway or bus service. Reason is lack of education and manners. We have to educate them with patience and perseverance. There is no short cut and blame games don't help.
London Banker | 7 years ago | Reply @Judas Priest: I'll ignore your hypocritical and hateful speech against the people of Southall and Bradford although I have no connection to either. Also don't have a family here but let me tell you this; you can enjoy your third class ticket on a third class airline where the airline's PR puts such things on social media and kicks up a fuss. I am happy to fly Qatar / Emirates / Etihad. Those who demand second hand standards like you - get second hand standards. If you read my post, I did say it was all wrong but at the same time it gives no right to a failing airline like PIA to be arrogant and label all people who chose to travel with it.
