Militant commander and aide killed in Swat

MINGORA: Security forces  killed key militant commander Qari Abdullah and his close aide Anas during a search operation in Swat.

Both the militants were wanted for their involvement in several suicide bombings. They were killed in an operation that was conducted by forces in Hayatabad area of Swat’s Mingora District.

Five other militants voluntarily surrendered themselves to security forces in Bara Badai.

Over in Orakzai Agency, four militants were killed in the Chappar Masti area as gunships pounded militant hideouts.
