Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Delays may be infuriating, but they’re actually doing you a favour. While situations seem clear cut, circumstances are more complicated than you imagine. While you can’t avoid making plans, you can ensure whatever you organise is flexible enough to withstand the changes that arise, and often, over the coming weeks.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

With your ruler Venus accenting who and what you care about most in life, you’re in a cycle of questioning. This began in early August and continues until the end of the month. While, obviously, you’d prefer to clear things up more swiftly, some of these matters simply can’t be rushed.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Although the Full Moon isn’t until later in the week, you’re already on edge. That’s because it accents certain tense issues, matters you’ve been trying to avoid. The trick is to talk them over now, but only briefly. Then, each day, go deeper and soon everything will be out in the open.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

When sudden changes arise in the lives of others, you’re thrilled and so are they. However, your reaction to similar developments in your own life such as those now coming your way, hasn’t been quite as enthusiastic. That’s because you’re seeking the kind of reassurance that only time can give.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

It hasn’t been fun watching various elements of your life come undone over the past couple of weeks. Some were some minor, others are of a more substantial nature, but each came as a bit of a shock. Unsettling as it was, these needed to change or go, as will soon become abundantly clear.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Planning ahead may be a virtue, and for Virgos, it’s as natural as breathing. But judging by the coming weeks’ planetary activity, even the simplest of arrangements should be regarded as tentative. Take that approach and when the inevitable unexpected events arise, you’ll be prepared to deal with them.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Not only are you likely to be a bit confused, the powerful planetary aspects that involved your ruler Venus, and both practical Saturn and visionary Neptune, over the past few days, will have raised questions about matters you’ve regarded as settled. Once they were. But it’s time for a change.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

When a series of sudden changes, mostly minor but some of more major proportions arose, you were both surprised and annoyed. When you make plans, you invest considerable time in ensuring they’ll work. However, these changes were triggered by events so unexpected that even you, at your canniest, couldn’t have anticipated them.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

No sign honours their commitments with greater enthusiasm than you, as a Sagittarius. Yet certain existing arrangements need to be discussed, if not rethought. When they were first organised, they made sense. But times have changed and so have you priorities. So much, in fact, that serious discussions are in order.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Although, in general, you don’t struggle with the emotional tides of the Full Moon in the way other signs do, this Thursday’s could have a powerful influence. That’s because it accents financial and business matters in general, and specifically those about which you’re already experiencing some anxiety.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

The odds are good you’re still battling to overcome recent worrying situations. While you’re attached to these and your instinctive reaction is to keep them afloat, these setbacks are prompting you to examine those that are increasingly troublesome. Once your mind’s clearer, you’ll realise it’s time for them to go.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Challenging as the first half of August has been in many ways, in the midst of those events you’ve had a chance to reflect on what, and who, means most to you. This is especially true in situations you’ve been taking for granted. No longer. You’ve been reminded of their importance.
