Swat as a tourist destination

I appeal to the Government of Pakistan to rebuild Swat

TURBAT: The Swat Valley is considered to be one of the finest valleys of Pakistan. The vegetables of Swat are renowned nationwide. When the season for peas in the rest of the country is over, the veggie is still available in Swat. Every day, a number of trucks are loaded with peas and supplied to other areas of Pakistan. In addition to its healthy harvests, Swat is also well known for its striking valleys and tourism.

Unfortunately, people don’t wish to visit Swat, owing to its battered roads. Since it was considered a major tourist spot in Pakistan at one point, it is an area that should have received priority attention much earlier. If the government provides Swat with basic facilities, the land will become a centre for tourism and will prove to be extremely beneficial for Pakistan’s economy. I appeal to the Government of Pakistan to rebuild Swat.
