PARACHINAR:

The security forces and Balochistan government have been accused of turning a blind eye to the plight of thousands of devotees from Kurram Agency who have been stranded on Pakistan’s border into Iran. A majority of them included elderly people and children. A devotee told The Express Tribune on Saturday that every year thousands of devotees go to Iran to visit religious sites in convoys. “But this time, we have been left at the mercy of militants,” he said. The devotees appeal to all relevant government bodies to come to their rescue and start an evacuation process.
