Agreement: MoU to streamline seminaries affairs

PESHAWAR: The provincial government has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Darul Uloom Haqania in Akora Khattak, Nowshera to streamline the affairs of the seminary. According to a handout issued on Tuesday, the aim is to start a modern educational system alongside the existing system. The handout added PTI MPA Shah Farman signed MoU with JUI-S chief Maulana Samiul Haq.  The agreement also stated the government will construct academic block in the seminary for various departments. Haqqania Talemul Quran High School will be upgraded to a degree college, while Haqqania Institute for Modern Languages will be established in the seminary to offer courses in Arabic, French, English and Chinese languages. As per the MoU, the institute will establish Haqqania Teacher Training Institute, Research and Publication, Modern Computer Laboratory and Modern Science Laboratory.
