Three more killed in Balochistan

Three gunned down in separate incidents of target killings in Quetta, Mastung and Bolan district.

QUETTA: Three people were gunned down on Thursday in separate incidents of target killings in Quetta, Mastung and Bolan district, police said.

In Quetta, assailants on a motorbike opened fire on a railway employee. Frontier Corps personnel and the police reached the site soon after the incident. The deceased belonged to Azad Kashmir and his body was handed over to his heirs, an official added.

The Balochistan Nationalist Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the killing by contacting various media offices through telephone.

In Mastung, armed men shot a person who was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Bangulzai. The incident took place within the limits of the City Police Station. Police termed the incident a case of target killing. In Bolan district, a group of armed men intercepted a passenger-van in Ab-e-Gum area of Mach town and kidnapped a passenger. Later, the man’s body was found in the area.
