Murder suspected: Three bodies recovered from Soan River

The police also recovered a motorcycle from the area with no registration number

RAWALPINDI: Saddar Bairuni police have recovered three unidentified bodies including of that of a woman and a child from the bank of Soan River near Ghorakhpur village on Adiala Road.

According to the information obtained from Saddar Bairuni Police Station, locals informed the police about presence of bodies on the river bank.

The police reached at the spot and took into custody the bodies that included a 30-year-old man, 25-year-old woman, and a six-year-old boy.

After recovering the bodies the police shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.

According to the police, the bodies had marks of injury from a sharp tool on their heads.

The police also recovered a motorcycle from the area with no registration number.

Meanwhile, Kotli Sattian police booked a man and his three sons in a murder case in Khaitar village. Kotli Sattian SHO Izhar Shah said that Jamil complained to the police on late Sunday night that four men axed his brother Naeem to death.

The SHO said that the complainant had nominated Farid Arif and his three sons Kamran, Faizan, and Riaz for the killing of his brother.

He said that according to the complainant his brother and Farid had a brawl few months ago.

He said that both parties also had a land dispute.

The SHO said that the two parties clashed with each other on Sunday night that resulted in Naeem’s death.
