Designer duo Nickie and Nina reminisce about their younger days — from playing pranks, fighting to even getting married on the same day!

What’s your first memory of each other?

Nickie: Nina and I used to fight a lot! We couldn’t be in the same room for more than five minutes. Interestingly, that changed to the other extreme the day we got married — on the same day! Also, from my earliest memory till date, Nina’s hair has always been perfectly blow-dried!

Nina: We were in our early teens and she wore my sleeveless neon pink top, I told her to take it off immediately which she obviously didn’t, and it resulted in a huge fight.

What is the craziest thing you have done together?

Nickie: In our early teens or maybe even before, we decided to make a swing on the rooftop of our house for our baby sister and got carried away swinging her so high that it broke. The poor child fell flat on the ground. Not knowing what to do, we just ran without looking back! Sorry, Chandi!

Nina: We have done so many crazy things that I cant think of one.

If you could only wear one piece of clothing for the rest of your life, from the others closet, what would it be?

Nickie: I would definitely take a few of her super comfy yoga pants from her large collection.

Nina: Her little black dress from Chanel!

What did you get punished for the most as a child?

Nickie: Our mother was and still is very strict about one thing in life: and that is to never be ungrateful. We would get punished for what sounded like ungratefulness, so we made sure to never voice it out.

Nina: I was very naughty and loved climbing up trees and walls, but I don’t remember being punished for that!

If you could swap places with each other, what’s the first thing you would you do?

Nickie: I would complete all my life-long pending tasks using her determination and perseverance; two traits I most admire in her.

Nina: Give her all the comfort that I have.

What is the one thing you love about your sister?

Nickie: She has always been there for me, as a sister and as a best friend.

Nina: She is there for me, always.

If you are fighting with each other, how do you make up?

Nickie: We pretend like nothing ever happened!

Nina: We just act normal right after the fight or argument.

What is the one secret talent your sister has, that you wish you did too?

Nickie: Her workout routine is like  boot camp in its own right.

Nina: Her cooking skills.

Describe your sister in three words:

Nickie: Charming, friendly and enterprising.

Nina: Beautiful, graceful and wise.

How are your personalities similar?

Nickie: We are often told that our hospitality skills are very similar; we definitely took that from our ami!

Nina: We are very different and yet similar in so many ways.

I can’t live without my sister because…

Nickie: She’s my confidante, my best friend and my partner in crime, as well as at work!

Nina: I take her advice in almost everything.
