None of the Panama leaks electronic media documentaries have shown media persons or the businessmen of our country
KARACHI: Why is it that we immediately start accusing someone when what we mostly hear are rumours? Currently, the Panama leaks issue has bagged the attention of the media. Programmes and documentaries are being shown about politicians who are accused of possessing illegal wealth but none of the programmes and none of the documentaries have shown media persons or the businessmen of our country whose names are also mentioned in the Panama papers. Why is it only the politicians whose wealth is being discussed? Are we afraid of something or is it that these people themselves are accusing others and they don’t want to turn the tables?
It is always said that when we need to divert attention over a particular issue, another issue is created. The same is the case here; these businessmen don’t have the slightest guts to answer such questions so instead, they have started asking questions of others.
