Combating Tragedies: Governor launches three rescue projects

The governor said these projects will strengthen and consolidate rescue efforts

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan has announced to launch three rescue projects — Rescue 1122, Lost Persons Helpline and First Aid Training to children — to ensure better rescue and relief in case of any disaster, eventuality or terrorist attack. He announced this while addressing the launching ceremony of School Safety Programme initiated by Pakistan Red Crescent, Sindh, at Governor House. The governor said these projects will strengthen and consolidate rescue efforts. He added that the security of educational institutions is the need of the hour. He said that philanthropists should also extend all possible help to make the programme a success.
