BAHAWALPUR:

Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti of the Bahawalpur bench of Lahore High Court has ordered officials to dispatch appointment letters to candidates selected on merit for 17 vacancies of school health nutrition supervisor in Bahawalnagar district.

The court was told that merit lists of candidates for the 17 vacancies had been prepared by the Bahawalnagar recruitment committee chairperson two years ago. However, the appointments were still pending.

The court had then ordered an inquiry to be led by the Bahawalpur commissioner.

The inquiry team found no discrepancies in the merit list and told the judge that it had been prepared according to rules and regulations.
