Pakistan’s heartthrob Atif Aslam has joined the Twitter bandwagon with a following of over 1,500 and growing!

Pakistan’s heartthrob Atif Aslam has joined the Twitter bandwagon, reports KoolMuzone.

The singer posted his first tweet on January 7, updating his fans about his musical endeavours. “Recording ‘Allah Hu’ for the next gig. Will be aired soon,” Aslam tweeted through his Twitter handle @itsaadee. In a matter of a mere week, the artist has a Twitter following of 1,650 fans.

While celebrities like Sonu Niigam and Miley Cyrus have abandoned Twitter for the mess it created in their lives, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer Willis is thankful for the micro-blogging website and says it gives celebrities an “outlet” in which they can respond to negative comments.

“Everyone has an opinion and if they say something negative, you can’t defend yourself because any response in itself is enough to validate the claim. But that’s the great thing about outlets like Twitter because, more and more, we’re getting control of our image. We can be in direct contact with the world and people can at least choose between second-hand and the direct information,” she said.

And singer Melanie Brown is enjoying what Rumer thinks is a Twitter bliss. Brown has shot down reports that she has fallen out with Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham.

“Just read online some bulls**t about me and Victoria having a fall-out, where do they get this from I have no idea,” Brown wrote on her Twitter page.

Here is our collection of the best ten tweets celebrities posted this week.

Geet | 13 years ago | Reply The biggest Pakistani pop star of the new age has always had no or little interaction with his fans. There have been rumors of Atif Aslam having a personal facebook account which have all been denied by Aslam in several interviews. That leaves the fans to either write on his Facebook Fan Page or Official Forums. Unfortunatly, both the online presences are not operated by Aslam himself, instead they are administrated by a team of moderators appointed by Atif’s management.
