Zhob gunfight: FC man, two TTP militants killed

The spokesman said the slain were involved in the kidnapping of the six workers of Agriculture Department

QUETTA: A Frontier Corps Balochistan soldier Abdul Sattar was martyred while two militants of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an exchange of fire in the Ghur Ismailzai area of Zhob district on Monday. According to FC Spokesman Khan Wassey, a contingent of the paramilitary force was on a search operation against the banned TTP in Kanokai locality of Ghur Ismailzai close to the South Waziristan border. The militants on seeing the FC team opened fire and during the ensuing gunfight a soldier was martyred and two terrorists were shot dead. The spokesman said the slain were involved in the kidnapping of the six workers of Agriculture Department.
