On orders: Security to be tightened at LRH gates, hostel

Security issues were discussed in detail, besides other matters

Lady Reading Hospital Director Colonel (retd) Dr Hamid Saeedul Haq has issued directives to enhance security at all hospital gates, including the nursing hostel. This was mentioned in a statement issued from LRH on Friday.


“Security personnel were directed to keep a close check on unwanted people within hospital premises,” the statement read. It added an emergency meeting of the officials was held at LRH with the hospital director in the chair.

Security issues were discussed in detail, besides other matters. The statement added those present at the meeting were briefed on the current set-up, after which the decisions were taken to strengthen security measures across the hospital, including deputing extra security on all gates along with the nursing hostel.
