ISLAMABAD: Outgoing Indian High Commissioner Dr TCA Raghavan paid a visit to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to reports, matters of bilateral interest including Dr Raghavan's role as an ambassador in Pakistan came under discussion during the meeting.

Further, Dr Raghavan, who holds a PhD in history from Jawaharlal Nehru University, was appointed Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan in June 2013.

Prior to his appointment, Dr Raghavan had served as India’s Deputy High Commissioner in Islamabad over 10 years ago.
