BTS Yet To Come in Cinemas

Witness the magic of K-Pop band BTS with popcorn, nachos and a desi crowd at Atrium and Cinepax theatres. Re-edited and remixed for the big screen, the special cinematic cut brings to the fans the last scheduled Busan concert, as most of it was ruined by technical glitches when it was streamed on Weverse last October. It features new angles and hit songs Dynamite, Butter and Idol, as well as the first concert performance of Run BTS from their latest album Proof.

Angels with Dirty Faces
If you’re interested in history, the roots of football and in the spirit of the world’s foremost footballing nations, this book by a history geek who loves South America is for you. Including phenomena such as Maradona and Messi, it may not be an easy-read and sometimes too descriptive and detailed. Yet, it is a well-structured and well-researched history around the emergence of a young nation with all of its crises and darkness, the rise of football in Argentina, its anglicised roots and how football runs through it veins.

FILM: The Invitation

It may seem that you are about to enter a dark and twisted world, but then you realise, it is just dark, as in difficult to see. The jerky visual effects remind you of the horror mood of films in the 70s or 80s. Despite Nathalie Emmanuel’s natural performance and appealing presence, the film does not connect at the level it should have, even though it had the potential. If you survive the first hour which is predictable and slow, the film packs some redeemable twists in the end.

Ito will twist your stomach with ghosts, demons undead beings, ectoplasms, nooses, poltergeists, restless spirits, cannibals, decapitated heads and more terror arising from beneath the floorboards, between the walls, in disused tunnels, and behind imposing walls.
