The Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12 Ultra are the three new smartphones that Xiaomi plans to introduce to its flagship smartphone series. Today, we have updated information and hands-on photos for the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro, both of which have previously been seen on Geek bench.
The information was provided by the reputable Indian tipster Mukul Sharma, who also disclosed the two phones' chipsets, fast charging, and memory options. The tipster claims that the Xiaomi 12S will only be offered in a single Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 configuration, while the 12S Pro will also be offered in a Dimensity 9000 configuration.
The 12S Pro's Dimensity 9000 edition will exclude the 128GB model, but both phones will feature 8 to 12GB RAM options with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage variations. One of the world's fastest smartphone charging rates, 120W fast charging, will be available on the 12S Pro.
Furthermore, the phones’ hands-on photographs have showed Leica branding next to the main camera configuration, which suggests that they could be the first Xiaomi phones to include Leica branding. Apart from that, the two phones should mostly resemble their non-S siblings in terms of both design and specifications.
The launch date is still not confirmed nor officially announced.
