We finally have a launch date for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which has been in the rumors for quite some time. The most potent smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer is anticipated to go on sale on July 5. The official teaser campaign is anticipated to begin on June 28.

The leak comes from Tech Going, a source with a sketchy track record, but it confirms an earlier statement made by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. On Weibo, the CEO teased the arrival of a new Xiaomi phone featuring Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in July.

Although he doesn't specifically mention Xiaomi 12 Ultra, it is very likely that the flagship phone will be released in July given the most recent leak from Tech Going. Lei Jun predicts a breakthrough in hardware performance and power efficiency for the future smartphone.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra might not, however, be the first device to use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This is due to the fact that the Asus Rog Phone 6 will use the same processor and ship on July 5.
