Battery:

Poco C31 comes with a large battery size of 5000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery pack. The phone can be charged using a 10W charging adapter. Although, the plastic is hard, the phone weighs in at just 194 grams, which is good considering the big 5000 mAh battery pack.

Processor/Chipset:

The new smartphone comes with a chipset from MediaTek. Xiaomi has decided to use the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset in this new Poco C31. This chipset runs alongside an octa-core processor which has four 2.30GHz cores and four 1.80GHz cores. The phone is using a PowerVR GE8320 as the GPU.

Poco C31 is using Android version 10 as its operating system. This operating system uses an in-house MIUI 12.0 as the user interface. Although this user interface is online, Xiaomi has avoided using advertisements, which is a great plus point.

Extra Features:

The front screen of the Poco C31 is not protected by anything and since a protective back case is also not present in the box, we would advise users to order a tempered glass and a back cover for extra protection because plastic can break. The new entrant of Xiaomi comes with a big 6.53 inch IPS LCD display.

The upcoming Xiaomi Poco C31 is using Android version 10 as the operating system. This operating system is using MIUI 12.0 for the user interface. This is the biggest negative point about this phone. With the release of Android 11 and beta testing of Android 12 almost towards an end, the phone is still running on Android 10.

Although Android 10 is a good operating system, it is not updated and there were some bugs in Android 10 which are fixed in new versions. The phone cannot be updated to a newer version, which is another big drawback. The user interface of MIUI 12.0 is good and does not have any lags when buttons are used, there was a bit of lag when gestures were used.
