Price & Colours:

The phone will be launched at a price tag of Rs 79,999. The phone comes in four different colours; Paper White, Paper Green, Titanium Blue and Steel Black.

Camera:

The rear side of the smartphone contains a triple-camera system. The main camera consists of a 50MP, 24mm wide angle, Sony IMX766 sensor. There is a secondary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor that can take pictures at an angle of 119 degrees. There is also a 2MP macro sensor present alongside an LED flash. The front camera is contained inside a punch-hole notch present at the top left corner of the main screen and has a 16MP wide angle, Sony IMX471 sensor.

RAM & Storage:

The operating system of this phone is based on Android 12 OS, while Realme uses its own in-house Realme UI 3.0 as the user interface. The smartphone is currently released in 3 different memory variants which are; 128GB internal storage having 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage having 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage having 12GB RAM. There is an added feature of expandable RAM as well.

Display:

The new entrant sports a large 6.62 inch AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen display that supports HDR10+. The resolution of the display is 1080x2400 pixels yielding a density of around 398 pixels per inch. The front display has an amazing refresh rate of 120Hz. Due to the AMOLED display; the fingerprint scanner is embedded inside the screen, which makes it easy to use.

Battery:

Realme GT 2 comes with a large battery size of 5000 mAh which can last for long hours. An added feature of 65W fast-charging results in extremely fast charging, as the company has also advertised that the phone can go from 0% to 100% in just 33 minutes.

Processor/Chipset:

The new Realme GT 2 is equipped with a chipset from Qualcomm, manufacturer of some of the fastest chipsets that exist on the market. Realme has used Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G. The chipset runs alongside an octa-core processor which has one 2.84GHz core, three 2.42GHz cores, and four 1.80GHz cores. Adreno 660 is being used as the GPU in the newly launched smartphone.
