Realme's new model is making rounds across the internet and you need to know why
Realme 9 Pro Plus Review

Realme has dropped a new device that is making rounds across the web for all the right reasons. This is the new 9 Pro plus model which is the first Plus model in the Realme number series, hence we can expect something extraordinary.

This model runs on Android 12 OS, which is the latest android version with the Realme 3.0 UI. It is an extremely good combination and users can expect good speed and the handset would not hang most likely. The dimensions of 9 Pro Plus are 160.2 x 73.3 x 8 mm making it look sleek and handy.

The build is slim and the phone is light weighted; it has a Glass back and front but the sides are plastic. Realme 9 Pro Plus is available in two colors, Aurora Green and Sunrise Blue. Both colors are unique in their terms, however, Sunrise Blue has relatively been in more limelight than the green one majorly because of its sparkling back that also changes color in sunlight.

This shade is very vibrant and it not only looks different in daylight and in room light but also has an illuminating effect to it. As the name suggests ‘sunrise’ represents different shades like the sky looks during a sunrise.

Talking about the system, Realme 9 Pro Plus has an Octa-core CPU with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, the highlight of this feature is the 5G addition in the chipset which is not only the latest technology but is also the very high speed with high performing sensors. It would not be wrong to say that Realme has indeed dropped a very power-packed device.

This model comes with a Super AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen with the screen size being 6.4 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels. Realme has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for the screen of 9 Pro Plus, it gives a neat look to the phone and results in good display quality.

The built-in storage of the phone is 128GB with an 8GB RAM; there is no memory card slot nor there is a hybrid sim slot which can be a setback for this model for users who need more space than 128GB and they would not have an option to increase the memory capacity.

This might seem like a drawback for the starters, as it restricts the usage, however, 128GB might be enough for most of the regular users. But of course, if any user has an average of 256GB storage, it would be difficult for them to revert to this storage phone.

Coming to the camera, it has a Triple Camera set up with the main camera being 50 MP along with the LED Flash. The new feature in Realme’s 9 Pro Plus camera is Sony IMX766 OIS Sensor, which is relatively new to the series resulting in a decent camera result. The front camera is 16 MP with additional panorama and video features. The front camera result is also good as compared to other Realme models.

Extra features in the model include Sensors, Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint (under display, optical), Gyro, Proximity, Glass back, Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic, and a Photo/video editor

The battery which is 4500 mAh, with the fast charging at 60W option, reaches 100% in 44 minutes. The quick charging feature with the long-lasting battery helps you on the go, however, the battery power could have been a bit more as the competitors are emphasizing more on the battery feature so that people have more screentime in less charging.

This is the Pakistani variant for 9 Pro Plus, hence is slightly different than the other variant launched globally. One thing about this model is that it resembles top flagship models by Realme, like GT series models but those are not widely available in Pakistan hence this model can be considered as a replacement.

The price of this phone is Rs 69,999 in Pakistan, and it can be considered a mid to high range phone however the price of this phone could have been slightly less like around 65,000. But overall, it is a pretty good phone with more than average features and specs.
