Price & Colors:
This model Reno 6 by Oppo is priced at 62,999 in Pakistan, which can be considered as a medium to high budget phone. It is available in quite unique and eye-catchy colors which are Aurora and stellar black.
Camera:
The Oppo Reno 6 does not have the rear depth camera that the Reno 6 Pro does, but it does have the same set of front and back sensors. A 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera are among the features. The Reno 6 Pro has the same photography and videography functions as the Reno 6 Pro.
The details and colors in the daylight photos were excellent. In comparison to the primary camera, the ultra-wide camera had a cooler color tone, and details were a little weaker, especially at the margins of the picture.
RAM & Storage:
The device's processor and RAM will make the phone's processing speed lightning fast. The internal storage capacity of the Oppo 6 is 128 GB. This is sufficient storage capacity to allow you to store a large amount of data for future use. The design is the first visible change between the Oppo Reno 6 and its Pro sibling.
Display:
The smartphone sports an AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen with a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels beneath the hood of the new Oppo Reno 6. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The smartphone's SoC is accompanied by 8 gigabytes of RAM.
Flat edges and a matte-finished metal frame with exposed antenna bands have replaced the curved-edge display and glossy frame, yet it appears to work in the Reno 6's favor. This phone has a luxury feel to it, and the Aurora color is stunning. The Oppo Reno 6 is just as thin (7.59mm) as the Reno 6 Pro, but weighs 173g more. Despite this, I found the phone to be pleasant to handle and operate.
Battery:
The 4,300mAh battery capacity may not seem like much, but I was easily able to get more than a full day out of it on a single charge in my day-to-day usage. In our HD video loop test, the Reno 6 again performed admirably, lasting 16 hours and 49 minutes. The best aspect is that it takes less than half an hour to charge the battery almost completely. If you don't have an Oppo fast charger, the Reno 6 supports USB-PD and other fast charging protocols (18W).
Processor/Chipset:
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G, which is one of the most recent chipsets on the market. The Oppo Reno 6's chipset is also a flagship chipset that can handle all of the high-end specs with precision and ease. To offer this chipset extra strength, the new handset sports a 2.3 GHz Octa-core processor.
Extra Features:
Despite the lower power than the Reno 6 Pro, the Oppo Reno 6's SoC is still capable of handling daily duties and games at full-HD+ quality. During multitasking, I never observed any lags, and the 90Hz refresh rate ensured seamless scrolling in menus and programs. The benchmark scores were also quite good.
The Reno 6 scored 4,26,495 points in AnTuTu and 728 and 2,085 points in the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests, respectively. During normal use, which in my case included using social apps and watching videos, the phone only got somewhat warm.
