Oppo K10 Review

Oppo released Oppo K1, K3 and K10. The good thing about the K series is that Oppo strives to bring something new in the K series. This budget phone costs around Rs 45,000 in Pakistan.

Design and Display

The back seems to be a shiny one with anti-fingerprint type of surface. The Oppo glow design is added in the phone. Although it is a plastic back but the glossy touch gives it a premium look. Oppo K10 is a mid-range phone that comes in 2 different colors; black and blue. According to our speculations, the in-hand feel or the grip will be good as the size of the phone is not too big or small, just the right size. This phone weigh approximately 190 grams.

Oppo k10 has a 6.59-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display. The screen to body ratio will be 90.8%. A 90Hz screen refresh rate along with 180Hz TSR. Another good thing is that the screen will also have 480 nits of brightness which means that the phone’s display could be seen properly in sunlight.

Camera

Now let’s talk about camera. It is expected that this phone will come with a 50-megapixel wide main sensor camera along with 2-megapixel macro lens and 2-megapixel portrait camera. The front camera is 16 megapixels which comes with a Sony IMX471 sensor. This will result in a relatively decent camera result.

The Sony sensor is good for the details but it is expected that the sensor will work properly in good lighting and the night or low light results may differ than the day time ones.

Interior

This will be a 4G phone and the processor included will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G also known as power-efficient processor. K10 comes in 2 variants; 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage. Also, like almost every other smartphone, K10 comes with microSD card slot as well, allowing users to expand the storage as per their need.

Oppo K10 runs on Android 11 OS. It is not certain but Oppo should release it with Android 12 out of the box.  Generally, Oppo phones come with Android 12 pre-installed.

The UI of Oppo K10 has ColorOS 11.1 which is nice and a fluent UI and it has very less bugs but it has one drawback, it has pre-installed apps however you can uninstall them, later.

Battery

If you like to binge watch and play games then good news for you. Oppo K10 will have a 5000mAh battery which will last more than a day easily. A 5000mAh battery is good but it can also get drained out, for that Oppo will give a 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging system.

Pros and Cons

The best part about this phone is its speakers as it has stereo speakers which will give a good sound quality. A 5GB virtual RAM is also given to make it run more smoothly. This makes the total RAM size as 11GB which is provide extraordinary speed as compared to phones in this price range.

For security, a side mounted fingerprint is added which doubles up as a power button. Along with these features, the most unique feature that users will get at this price range is IP5X rating. The upcoming Oppo K10 is dustproof which is kind of unique to come at, considering the price range.

Although it has some great features, the only drawback is the display. It has a simple IPS LCD display at this price. Oppo should have considered adding an AMOLED display as its competitors are majorly giving this in all the new phones.
