Price & Colour:
In early winter of 2021, Chinese manufacturer, OnePlus decided to launch a successor to its previously successful flagship smartphone: the OnePlus 9R, the all-new OnePlus 9RT priced at Rs. 97,999, the new phone comes in three colors; Black, Silver, and Blue.
Camera:
The rear side of the smartphone contains a triple-camera system. The main camera consists of a 50MP, 24mm wide angle sensor. There is a secondary camera with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor that can take pictures at an angle of 123 degrees. There is also a 2MP macro sensor present alongside a dual LED flash. The front camera is contained inside a punch-hole bezel present at the top left corner of the main screen and has a 16MP wide angle sensor which helps in taking selfies and helps face recognition software in working responsively and effectively.
RAM & Storage:
The smartphone currently comes in 3 different memory variants which are; 128GB internal storage having 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage having 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage having 12GB RAM.
Display:
This was not much awaited since OnePlus has already released a successful flagship phone in the shape of the OnePlus 9R. The new phone weighs in at 198.5 grams, which is decent given its big display. The front and back glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, while the frame of the phone is made of metal.
The new entrant sports a large 6.62 inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+. The resolution of the display is 1080x2400 pixels yielding a density of 397 pixels per inch. Due to the AMOLED display, the fingerprint scanner is embedded inside the screen, which makes it easy to use.
Battery:
The OnePlus 9RT comes with a battery size of 4500 mAh which is quite big and can last for long hours. An added feature of 65W fast-charging results in extremely fast charging, as the company has also advertised that the phone can go from 0% to 100% in 29 minutes.
Processor/Chipset:
The OnePlus 9RT comes with one of the fastest and powerful chipsets manufactured by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888 5G. The chipset runs alongside a powerful octa-core processor which has one 2.84GHz core, three 2.42GHz cores, and four 1.80GHz cores. Adreno 660 is being used as the GPU in the newly launched smartphone.
Extra Features:
As seen in recent phones, the OnePlus 9RT also doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a drawback but in order to tackle this, OnePlus has given a dual stereo speaker system which yields good quality sounds which are not muted or muffled. The speaker quality is amazing even when bass-boosted songs are played.
The scanner is extremely fast and highly responsive in detecting fingerprints. Another security feature is face recognition software that enables users to keep their data safe. Since this sensor is using a 16MP front camera, it is also very responsive and easy to use. Some of the other sensors include; accelerometer sensor, gyro, proximity sensor and compass.
Keeping in view all the above features and their details, the new OnePlus 9RT is a perfect combination of every component that a user looks for in a new device and hence we would definitely recommend this smartphone.
