Price & Colours:
The price of base version of P50 Pocket is set at Rs 180,000 while the “Premium Edition” is announced at Rs 220,000/=. The smartphone comes in three amazing colors; Black, White, and Golden.
Camera:
The camera system on the back of P50 Pocket is a triple-camera system housed inside a circular area alongside a single LED flashlight. The main camera has a 40MP wide angle sensor. There is a 13MP ultra-wide sensor which can capture images and videos up to 120degrees. Another camera is the 32GB ultra-spectrum sensor. Coming to the front, the front camera is present inside a punch hole notch present in the top middle of the screen. This front camera is a 10.7MP ultra-wide camera.
RAM & Storage:
The phone comes in 2 variants having different memory sizes. The base variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, while Huawei has gone on to introduce another variant, a “Premium Edition” having 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. An added feature of the 256GB nano-memory card allows increasing the internal storage easily.
Display:
The smartphone comes with a huge 6.9 inch display when unfolded. The main screen has an OLED display displaying 1 Billion colors. The screen runs on an impressive 120Hz refresh rate making the touch extremely smooth and top quality. The resolution of the screen is set as 1188x2790 pixels, hence giving a density of 442 pixels per inch. The phone also consists of a cover screen present on the outside. That screen has a dimension of 1.04 inches, has a resolution of 340x340 pixels yielding a density of 328 pixels per inch.
Battery:
The phone consists of a 4000mAh battery and supports fast-charging of up to 40W which is decent when it comes to flagship devices.
Processor/Chipset:
The dual-sim 4G enabled phone sports one of the fastest chipsets manufactured by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888 4G edition. Running alongside it is a powerful octa-core processor and has Ardeno 660 as the GPU. The P50 Pocket is currently running on an in-house operating system manufactured by Huawei itself, the HarmonyOS 2.0.
