Price & Colours:
The new phone comes in four stylish colors; Black, Blue, Green and Violet. Huawei phones are always awaited due to their good specifications, right? Wrong. People are just curious about what Huawei can make even after rejecting US products, and so far, Huawei hasn’t disappointed.
The expected price of Nova 9 Pro is Rs. 93,999 and the phone may be available in the market for users in the second quarter of 2022.
Camera:
The rear side of the smartphone contains a quad-camera system present in two rings. The main camera present in one ring is a 50MP, 23mm wide angle sensor. The other ring consists of a secondary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. There is also a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor present alongside a dual LED flash. The front camera is a dual-camera system contained inside a capsule punch-hole bezel present at the top left corner of the main screen. The main camera has a 32MP wide angle sensor and a secondary camera having a 32MP ultra-wide sensor that can take pictures at 100 degrees.
RAM & Storage:
The new Nova 9 Pro is currently running on an in-house operating system that is powered by Huawei, HarmonyOS 2.0. This operating system has been created to fulfill the need for an android operating system. The smartphone currently comes in two different memory variants which are; 128GB internal storage having 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage having 8GB RAM.
Display:
The new entrant comes with a large 6.72 inch OLED display that supports HDR10. The resolution of the display is set at 1236 x 2676 pixels resulting in a high density of 439 pixels per inch. The phone has an excellent 120Hz refresh rate along with 300Hz touch sampling rate. The overall screen-to-body ratio is a high 91.2%. Due to the OLED display, there is a fingerprint scanner present inside the screen that is very quick in response.
Battery:
The new Nova 9 Pro comes with a battery size of 4000 mAh which is relatively small. An added feature of 100W fast-charging results in extremely fast charging as the company claims that the phone can charge from 0% to 100% in a surprising 20 minutes.
Processor/Chipset:
Talking about the chipset, the phone is equipped with the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G edition that has transistors of 6nm. This chipset runs alongside an octa-core processor that has four 2.40GHz cores and four 1.80GHz cores. The GPU running on this phone is Adreno 642L.
Extra Features:
The new Nova 9 Pro has an overall weight of 186 grams, which is pretty good considering that the phone has a big 6.72 inch display. The dimensions of the phone are 163.4mm x 74.4mm x 8mm. the front is protected by a glass protector. The back of the phone has an elegant matte-finish.

The new Huawei Nova 9 Pro has a very elegant aluminum rear. The phone comes in four amazing colors; Black, Blue, Green and Violet. The best thing about this back is that it has a matte finish to it and hence the smartphone is fingerprint-smudge-free. This also means that the phone is much easier to grip and is not prone to falling. The color scheme is amazing as it gives a gradient finish when looked-at from different angles.
On the right side, the volume rocker and power trigger button are given. The bottom of the smartphone contains a sim tray, a USB-C charging port and a stereo speaker. On the top is the microphone that has an added feature of noise-cancellation. The front of the phone is a curved screen that has a double punch or capsule punch-hole for selfie camera. While the front camera is protected by a glass protector, we don’t know the exact details since Huawei is not using Corning Gorilla Glass anymore.
