Price & Colours:
The smartphone comes in a single option of dual-sim, both of which are 4G/LTE enabled and doesn’t support 5G connectivity. The smartphone comes in four colors; Black, Blue, Aurora and White. This phone is coming soon to the Pakistani markets and the expected price is Rs. 59,999. The phone may be available in Pakistan in the second quarter of 2022.
Camera:
The rear side of the phone contains a quad-camera system having main camera of 64MP while the other camera is an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The other two camera sensors are a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There is an LED flash light along with this camera system. The back camera can be used to record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is contained inside a water-drop notch that has a 16MP sensor that can be used to capture 1080p videos at 30fps, and is very helpful when the face unlock system is being used.
RAM & Storage:
The phone is released in a single memory variant; 128GB internal storage having 8GB RAM. There is no dedicated slot for microSDXC and hence internal storage cannot be increased in any case.
Display:
The overall screen size of this recently released phone has a large 6.5 inch OLED display which has a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. This resolution results in a density of around 405 pixels per inch, while the phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4%. The aspect ratio of this mobile device is 20:9, while the phone has a refresh rate of 60Hz.
Processor/Chipset:
The phone is equipped with Huawei’s own in-house chipset from HiSilicon, the HiSilicon Kirin 710A, that runs on a 14nm technology. The chipset runs on an octa-core processor that has four 2.00GHz cores and four 1.70GHz cores. Mali-G51 MP4 is the GPU that is being used in the phone. 4G-enabled Nova 8 SE uses Huawei’s own HarmonyOS2.0 as the operating system, and the user interface is also based on this operating system.
Battery:
The smartphone contains a low-mediocre Li-Po 3800 mAh battery pack which is non-removable. A high-technology 66W fast-charging technology is also supported in this smartphone, which can charge the smartphone from 1% to 100% in just 35 minutes.
Extra Features:
Most of the mid-range smartphones, having similar price range come in the same structure as Huawei Nova 8 SE 4G. The entire back of the smartphone is made of good quality plastic, while the front screen is protected by Glass protector. The entire frame of this smartphone is also made of plastic.
The left side of the phone has a dual-sim tray that doesn't contain a water-resistant seal. The bottom of the smartphone has a microphone, a charging port and a grill for loud speakers. The front screen contains a water-drop notch that contains the front selfie camera. The overall bezels and the chin are very large, but it is somewhat common on smartphones of this range.
