Poco M4 Pro 5G was launched on 9th November, 2021 in China and on 16th December in Pakistan. The smartphone was released in Pakistan at a considerably good price of Rs. 37,999.
The new Poco phone's initial appearance and details were leaked online before the company made it official. The handset has a hole-punch design, a dual rear-camera arrangement, and comes with a few improvements as compared to Poco M3 which had major issues in each handset, and had received major criticism from buyers.
At the time of its release, the new Poco M4 Pro 5G was depicted as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 5G, which was officially introduced in China. The handset boasts a 90Hz refresh rate display. The base variant of Poco M4 Pro 5G having 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, comes in three amazing colours: Mysterious Black, Milky Way Blue, and Mint Green colours. It has a very stylish appearance and the back camera module appears to have been stretched to cover the entire width of the phone. A huge POCO logo is prominently displayed on the extension.
POCO M4 Pro has a rear camera module that appears to have more cameras than it actually has. The AI logo has its own unique opening. In actuality, the phone includes two cameras: a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor.
The selfie camera has a 16 megapixels resolution sensor. The newly launched phone runs Android 11 0S as the operating system which was the latest version of Android at the time of the phone’s release. It has the HELIO G85 SoC based octa-core processor which is quite fast. Poco M4 pro has a big 6.6 inches IPS LCD display which is pretty handy and it is certainly bigger than other phones in this price range. The smartphone is released in various storage options of 128GB and 256GB built-in internal storage along with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options.
The front display of the phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The new Poco M4 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, due to the IPS LCD display, which is very responsive, encrypts data on the phone and only allow authorized users to access it.
The smartphone is powered by a big 5000 mAh battery, supporting a 33W Fast charging technology. Since M4 Pro smartphone is released, Samsung and other tech titans are facing tough competitions as these Chinese companies are bringing the latest technology in less prices, eventually creating market competition.
