The new generation of smartphone’s chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000 have gained huge popularity after being recently launched in the market but, the Snapdragon 870 will dominate the majority of the smartphones in the future given the fact that less high-end phones are manufactured compared to other categories.
Reports suggest that the Chinese companies, Redmi and Xiaomi possess a huge stock of Snapdragon 870 SoCs that will be the main chipsets used in the latest phones. A renowned tipster by the name of Digital Chat Station suggests that the smartphone with Snapdragon 870 will not be considered as economical mobile phones. Mid-range tablets with Snapdragon 870 are in the plans of different companies and manufacturers.
Snapdragon 870 will be installed in the standard version of upcoming Redmi K50 particularly. The Redmi K50 series will have different variants that will equip different chipsets, Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000. Reports suggests that the gaming variant of Redmi K50 will have a Dimensity 9000 and it has already been approved.
Before this, Digital Chat Station disclosed the reports of Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11, their specifications and released dates. Now its upon us to wait for Redmi K50 which is expected to launch somewhere in February 2022.
