With the Realme 9 series in Pakistan, it seems like we are moving backward. Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro+, and now the standard Realme 9 have all previously been released. The phone has now made its official debut in Pakistan.
The vanilla version of the Realme 9 has the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate as the Realme 9 Pro+. The fingerprint sensor is still located below the display, and the overall design is unchanged. However, the regular Realme 9 offers three new colour options: Meteor Black, Sunburst Gold and Stargaze White.
The phone has a Snapdragon 680 SoC from Qualcomm, 6 to 8GB of RAM, and only a single 128GB storage option. Realme 9 has a microSD card slot for storage expansion, unlike the Pro+ model.
In addition, you receive a 108MP main camera in instead of a 50MP one, however it has a smaller sensor and lacks OIS. It has a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera attached. The 5000mAh battery is bigger and better, but it comes at the cost of slower charging at 33W (down from 60W). The 16MP selfie camera however, remains unchanged.
Realme 9 is currently on sale at the price of Rs 54,999, as it was previously announced.
