Oppo was reportedly working on its first foldable phone and it was supposed to be introduced in November 2021 but the launch schedule was moved ahead and hence Oppo finally launched its foldable smartphone by the mid of December 2021. Oppo has been one of the few businesses working on new foldable smartphones and has never been afraid of Samsung which has been an in-charge of the majority of foldable smartphone debuts, out of which some were a huge success, while others failed horribly.
The first foldable phone from Oppo, the Oppo Find N, has been available since December. It has an 8-inch primary display with a 120Hz refresh rate on top of a Samsung LTPO screen. To save battery life, the screen also supports a variable refresh rate.
The Oppo Foldable phone, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2, contains an inward folding design. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 which runs alongside an octa-core processor. The main camera at the rear-side has a 50MP Sony primary sensor while the front camera has a 32MP sensor. The fingerprint sensor is present on the side of the phone.
A large 4500mAh battery pack with 65W fast charging capabilities is powering the smartphone. It comes with a ColorOS 12 UI pre-installed on top of operating system based on Android 12. Oppo was expected to call its foldable phone Oppo X, but since Oppo released its rollable phone and named it Oppo X, Oppo named its foldable phone as Oppo Find N. The price tag of this smartphone is set at Rs. 219,999/= which was always expected given the high-quality design.
