Another OnePlus Nord 2 has exploded, this time again in India. Although no information about the event has been released, a video has been shared on Twitter. OnePlus, on the other hand, refused to replace the smartphone, according to the author.
It is apparent that the Nord 2 not only caught fire, but also exploded this time. Or, at the very least, the activity was much more active. The device melted and burst open. Thankfully, the owner was unharmed.
It's difficult to determine which Nord 2 is currently on fire, but five or six identical claims have already surfaced. And they're all set in India for some reason. It's possible that the Nord 2 for the Indian market isn't made in the same factory as the Nord 2 for the European market. The firm should then seek for causes in the manufacturing processes.
Most probably the issue is with the battery as it was seen in Samsung smartphones before. The battery used in the OnePlus Nord 2 is a Li-Po Non-removable battery with a 4500 mAh capacity that comes with a 65W fast charging system.
Another most probable reason could be the high-end processor used in the phone. The processor used in this smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G with Mali-G77 MC9. Dimensity are usually considered reliable and safe. Also, they are considered as a cool chipsets.
In the end, whatever the reason is, OnePlus should look into this matter and should replace or refund the users. Also, 4 to 5 cases have appeared in recent times, which should be a concern for the company.
