Dimensity 2000 breaks AnTuTu with a 1 million+ score

The year 2021 saw the rise of MediaTek, which became the world's largest chipmaker. Dimensity chips, which have 5G connections, great performance and a reasonable price have been added to the fabless chip maker's catalogue. The Dimensity 1200 was the company's premier product for 2021, and it was found in a significant number of smartphones.

This processor, however, is still behind Qualcomm and Samsung's premium chipsets. With the MediaTek Dimensity 2000 SoC, however, things will be different. The first benchmark has shown the beast's abilities today. MediaTek introduced two new flagship series chipsets at the start of this year: the Dimensity 1100 (sub-flagship) and the Dimensity 1200.

When compared to the Snapdragon 888 series processor, the performance of both SoCs was not particularly impressive. However, new leaks have shown that MediaTek is working on a processor that would outperform all others. MediaTek has long been overshadowed by Qualcomm, its American rival, and this unfavorable situation did not suit the company.

However, in recent years, the Taiwanese chipmaker has worked hard to improve the public's image of its goods. They are gradually changing the landscape of the mobile chip business, and people are increasingly choosing MediaTek devices. According to speculation, MediaTek has already lined up a number of customers for its future Dimensity processors, including Vivo.

If the rumors are accurate, Vivo's next Dimensity-based flagship might be one of the world's fastest phones. This Vivo phone will most likely be a new X-series model. An important breakthrough was announced by the well-known Chinese blogger DigitalChatStation. According to the blogger, AnTuTu Benchmark has listed a new Vivo handset with the model number "V2184," and the device is powered by Mediatek's mysterious chipset "MT6983."

The MT6983 is used to power the vivo V2184. According to rumors, this chip is known as the Dimensity 2000, and the phone will most likely be a new X-series model. Ice Universe and Digital Chat Station both gave the score of 1,002,220. AnTuTu has yet to confirm the validity of the score. The new Vivo model V2184 could be part of a secret smartphone series, as no flagship product is likely to use this chipset at this time.

The business had just released its flagship Vivo X70 series two months prior. It is claimed that MediaTek has lined up many clients for the world's first 4nm smartphone chipset. One of Vivo's phones may have just become the first Android handset to surpass 1 million points in AnTuTu. The MediaTek Dimensity 2000 smartphone that ran AnTuTu was most likely a prototype.

Many smartphone manufacturers have enhanced their relationships with the company. For example, in the creation of the Dimensity 1200 AI, MediaTek and One Plus collaborated. Similarly, the company has collaborated with Xiaomi. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC is expected to debut in December with the Xiaomi 12.

Samsung will not reveal its Galaxy S22 devices until February 2022. The Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU will make its debut in the new devices. The only remaining question is which business will be the first to release a Dimensity 2000 smartphone. Realme, Oppo, Vivo, and iQOO are all strong contenders.
