On July 4, Huawei is going to introduce the new Nova 10 smartphones. Prior to the formal debut, we already know the whole spec sheet for these phones, despite the Chinese company explicitly teasing a handful of its features.
The Chinese retail website JD has just published the Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro, providing all the information available about the two phones. The front cameras and battery specifications are the only significant variations between the Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro. The two phones are practically identical other from that.
The Nova 10 Pro is only marginally larger than its simpler version, despite the fact that the two phones share the identical design. The 6.67-inch OLED screen on both phones has a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro phone has a dual front camera arrangement inside a pill-shaped cut-out, while the Nova 10 simply has a single selfie camera inside a punch-hole cut-out.
Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC, which ruled the mid-range market last year. There will only be the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB RAM and storage variants. Right out of the box, the phones will start up Harmony OS 2.
A 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro lens make up the camera system, which is also the same. Although the cameras on both phones are 60MP, the Nova 10 Pro has an additional 8MP selfie camera.
The two phones differ in their battery capacities. Huawei Nova 10 Pro has a 4500mAh battery capacity with 100W fast charging whereas the Nova 10 has a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
