The new and long-anticipated phones from the subsidiary brand of BKK Electronics, Vivo, are finally on sale. Vivo has launched its S12 series and the price for the vanilla or base variant, which is Vivo S12, is approximately Rs. 78,000 for 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and the second variant of S12, which has a 12GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, is priced at Rs. 84,000.
This latest model consists of a 6.4-inch screen with an AMOLED display that is able to support a 1080p resolution. The refreshing rate of the screen is 90Hz, which is standard in today’s smartphones, and the sampling rate is 180Hz. HDR10+ high dynamic range is equipped in the display.
The front of the screen houses two cameras with the main camera holding a 44-megapixel lens that includes an aperture of F/2.0. The second camera houses an 8-megapixel camera that is combined with an F-stop of 2.3 lenses. Selfie cameras on both models get an interesting dual flash. The latter can be set to a color temperature ranging from 3000K to 6000K.
The user interference on Vivo S12 is OriginOS Ocean. The chipset integrated on the back panel is Dimensity 1100 SoC, which is paired up with 8 and 12 GB of RAM, depending on different variants, and equipped with an internal storage of 256 GB. The back panel holds a triple camera setup with the main camera of 108-megapixel with F 1.9, second camera being 8-megapixel with F 2.2 and lastly a 2-megapixel camera with F 2.4. The battery included in the rear end is a 4200 mAh which comes with a 44-watt fast charging system.
The ‘Pro” version of Vivo S12 are priced at $530 for 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. The second variant is priced at $580 which comes with a 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The pro versions have Dimensity 1200 SoC integrated. The S12 pro is slightly bigger than its base variant with a 6.56-inch of AMOLED display. The refresh rate of screen is 90Hz and the sampling rate is 240Hz.
The dual front selfie camera holds a 50-megapixel and 8-megapixel lenses with f 2.0 and f 2.3 respectively. The back-end camera is similar to the base variant and no changes in that area. Battery capacity has been increased in pro version with 4300 mAh battery that comes with a 44-watt fast charging.
