The top telecom and ICT service provider in the nation, PTCL, has successfully implemented Huawei Technologies' AirPON solution in its Fiber Access Network.
With a reduced total cost of ownership and a quicker time to market, AirPON is a novel and ground-breaking Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solution that uses the infrastructure already in place for mobile-cellular networks.
Utilizing specifically designed, pre-connected Optical Distribution Network (ODN) components, AirPON delivers a novel, effective, and rapid deployment that reduces fieldwork by using a plug-and-play method while significantly raising the level of installation quality.
The infrastructure at cellular mobile sites is utilized to meet the housing, power, and transportation needs of optical line terminal (OLT) equipment.
