The originally planned date for the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir's iftar dinner with the Pakistan men's cricket team has been shifted from April 7 to April 8.

High-ranking officials from the Pakistan Army, along with Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), are also expected to receive invitations for the iftar dinner.

This change aligns with the current fitness camp, which commenced on March 26 and was initially scheduled to conclude on April 8.

With the camp wrapping up today, players will journey to Rawalpindi for the scheduled Iftar dinner.

The players will report back in Rawalpindi after Eid, as the national team is set to take on New Zealand in a five-match T20I series.

The Blackcaps will land in Islamabad on April 14 and are scheduled to play three T20Is at Rawalpindi's Pindi Cricket Stadium on April 18, 20, and 21. Following these matches, the teams will move to Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium for the final two T20Is on April 25 and 27.
