Warwickshire's head coach, Mark Robinson, anticipates the absence of fast bowler Hasan Ali for the opening match of the County Championship season due to his commitments with the Pakistan national team.

Hasan is part of the group of 29 players selected for a fitness camp in Kakul from March 26 to April 8.

Warwickshire is scheduled to commence their season against Worcestershire at Edgbaston on April 5.

Robinson expressed uncertainty regarding Hasan's arrival time, citing the dynamic circumstances in Pakistan.

"We're a bit unsure when Has is going to arrive due to the ever-changing events in Pakistan," Robinson told BBC WM Sport.

"I don't think he's going to be here for the first game."

Hasan Ali, who notably claimed 14 wickets in 10 matches while representing Karachi Kings in the recently concluded ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League, adds to Warwickshire's roster strength but may not be available for the early matches due to his international commitments.
